I know about poppy seeds, but can sesame seeds have the same effect on a drug screen??

Not at all. Sesame seeds do not grow into a plant that narcotics can be derived from (and thus contain some of the same chemicals), unlike poppies.

I've never heard of it having the same genetic make up of Poppy Seeds and the effects of a drug showing up in your system.

Nope, they are from different plant families. Poppies are related to opium poppies, but sesames are not.

.I LOVE sesame seeds. And the answer is no they will not come back on a drug screen for positive (unless they are testing for sunflower addiction)
