I always have dreams where I can hardly walk. I'm trying to get somewhere and I can't put one foot in front of the other very well, and alot of times I get on all fours and crawl real fast. It scares me alot. I do have fibromyalgia, though not really bad, so I don't know if it's that or what. I just know I sometimes have to help move each leg to walk. What could that mean?

Could be that it is just your mind's way of "dealing" with the fibro. It also could mean that you are currently trying to get something accomplished and you're having a really hard time with it. Hard time in finishing some kind of goal. Ask yourself what is going on in your life right now and if you are not accomplishing what you thought you would.

I have that same dream where I can't walk straight or someone is watching me walk and I can't. Or I'm pulling myself along the ground. I do NOT have fibromyalgia. I think it's a common dream. But I wake up very tired in the morning.

That is normal in dreams...the weightage of ur dream's efect is reflected in the way u walk around....
u hav fibromyalgia has nothing to do with it....if u r dealing with dificult dreams or dreams in which u are trying to get away from things or trying to get to things then u find u cant walk well.....
the effect of ur dreams in your mind weighs on you such that only ur brain is working in the dream and not ur body....

relax...nothing to worry about!

I have those dreams too. I learned a few years ago that when we sleep, there's a "switch" in our brain that turns on and cuts off some movement so that we don't act out our dreams. I think that when we are dreaming that we notice this and actually try to move our legs/arms.

i think a psychoanalyst would say that you are afraid of doing something and that the inability to walk is a sign of you timidness to take the steps needed.
