It is certainly a miracle drug. I have used it once at the emergency room for treatment of heat stroke. My heart was racing and it helped me relax and recuperate from my attack. I know I have read that there is abuse, but for those who truly need it for their illnesses, it is wonderful.

yes, I believe in my Valium. I take them every night religiously! I know they are addictive. I have been taking them for years and still have leftovers at the end of every month. I refuse to abuse! They are for my muscle spasms and to relax me so I can rest. After 3 mayor spine surgeries, and Rheumatoid Arthritis, I believe it is appropriate for me to consume them. LOL I have much stronger medicine that I prefer to not mention. I am just blessed that I do not have a addictive personality. 10 points for the question and a Valium to save the day. :)

and your so correct. valium in a short term dosage is completly safe. it is those doctors out there who prescribe this drug for long term use who have no business in being a doctor- valium as well as many other addicting substances should NEVER be used in long term treatment plans.

like i've said before, valium and things like xanax ect should only be used short term for issues like yours or other traumatic experiences.

i have never met anyone able to function on heavy duty drugs.

I take it when I fly. It have had a panic attack or two while flying and it is really embarrassing. So I take a valium before I go and it helps a lot.
