All you can do is support your brother. Despite what he has done hes blood even though hs is likley to go to jail for what he did and for a long time just say you will be there. Jail is going to be tough but like thay say if you can't do the time don't do the crime. However people are hard to judge nobody knows the reason to why this had happend. What would thay do if it was there brother. Don't turn you back on him as i said its going to be hard enough as it is without familely. As long as there is one positive thing for him he will get through it. Its a shame these things happen accident or not. I have to say that im glad you love and care so much for your brother and hope for the best just make sure he keeps his head down in jail if thats whats happens. All the best.

I think you are going to have to explain your question in abit more detail because you are going to get some bad reply to this,if your brother did this because he is a bully well then he deserves life in prison for the murder but if he did it in self defence,we've all near enough been there,I was the other month this lorry driver nearly killed me if I hadn't of swerved then I would of gone straight under his lorry, well I lost the plot & got a golf swing iron out of my car & smashed his head lights in,yes if the man had got out I would of probaly hit him with it,so he could of died, those things are heavy,,so please explain the cercomstances of your brother.

You should give him all the support he needs, let him know it gets better with time. Recommend he try counciling, for someone to talk to so they can help him work through his problems. Just let him know you'll do whatever you can to help him. If he's having problems sleeping or eating, he might want to consult a doctor, or having severe depression. Help him any way you can....and the best way to start is give him your undivided attention and support when you listen to him.
Hope this helps

I don't know the in or outs but obviously there are major issues here. Whether premeditated or not be there for him but be aware that your own life does not go down the pan with all the responsibilities.

Hit by punching or hit by driving? Be strong & supportive . This is hard to answer without all the facts.

I think there are a number of reasons, why the best help he can get right now will be "professional help." I think a lawyer and a counselor would be good for him right now. Maybe you can help him by advising him of that. Good luck. Just be there for him.

be there for him.. remember.. two sides of every coin and he hit for a reason.. the court will hear that reason and decide if he was just. or unjust.. be there for your brother.. i would be there for mine and if he was wrong,, help him see the err of his ways. and hope he dont get the death penalty , in which case you should not abandon him..cause every moment will matter to you both and your parents and family..

I dont understand why hitting someone would effect his job, unless he was a driver for Sears or something....
But regardless, first you need to hope and pray that he doesnt get sent to jail.
Then he needs to worry about a job.

you can't help him at all it was his responsibility to try not to hit that person and to control his anger... unless you told him to of course. Anyway just try to teach him to learn from his mistake maybe get him anger counseling if he don't go to jail. But don't stress over it. Try to get him to apologize to the person he killed's family. But if he killed one of my relatives i would never forgive him. anyway hope i helped x
