If any one sins and does not ask God for forgiveness, they shall not be granted entrance into the Kingdom of Heaven.
there is no other punishment here on Earth, other than that meted out by the secular governments.

These things, if not repented of, are ultimately punishable by death, which the bible calls the second death. Whether this means burning in hell forever, or whether it means total destruction, I'm not sure. But whatever it is, it is the opposite of eternal life in heaven.
Believers understand this, so they know that they can't do these things and still be believers. So, the way the Christian church deals with these things (in theory, not always in practice, sadly, which is one reason why the church is such a mess) is expulsion from the church. And of course the guilty party needs to make restitution if possible. But Christians do not have the authority to kill anyone. The Lord reserves that responsibility to Himself.

Those punishments in Society of course is Jail time, but in Christianity, the punishment is for thievery, and adultery, is the same as any other sin. God chooses who to punish, and when, but pretty much in the christian religion, it just tally's up on your slate as another sin in God's eyes.

Mormons would ban the delincuents from certain rights at church then the wrongdoer will have to attend a hearing and he will probably be excommunicated; In the case of thivery he will have to deliver himself to the police and pay for his crime before being forgiven.
