Yes, many of our clients at Red Cross become homeless due to destroyed property from home fires and natural disasters. I am a client casework supervisor and do my best to help them

Yes, I work at an animal shelter, and have helped many homeless and neglected pets find good homes
(FWIW, we do background checks on all candidates,
both human and animal!).

Please . . . if you intend on getting a dog or cat,
go to your local animal shelter, first!

Shame on me! I have too much going on to go and physically help HOWEVER, I do donate food to the local soup kitchen and the district's food bank.

I do want to start serving holiday meals once my kids get big enough to actually help too!

No why should I? People treat me like dirt everyday and walk all over me, no one deserves my help until someone shows some sympathy towards me.
