I dont want to jump to conclusions, and start assuming things... BUT
Me and my bf have been together for 9 months. He's kind of a private person; and he likes his space. But lately, like the past month, he always wants to spend time with me and hold me and stuff. What should I think of this??

He's not the "show your emotions" type.. or the cuddling/lovey dovey type.. before we would go a few days without seeing each other, and he was totally fine with that. But now he goes crazy when we go a day without seeing each other (not psycho, but you could definately tell he missed me the next time i see him)

well he's finally comfortable around you
you should be happy
he might want to be intimate
or maybe he's just really getting comfortable around you
and enjoying your presence
you mean something to him now
he might even find himself falling in love with you
just be glad he's opening up

Sounds kind of normal, but you sound like you miss the macho guy. I'm not saying break up with him, but there's 10 more guys in line waiting. No need in going crazy over one nut-job, when you can be happy with someone else right now. Right!? Take it easy chick!

Well, there are 2 ways you can take this.
Either he is opening up to you which is what I'd like to believe.
Then a lot of people say when a boyfriend becomes like that out of nowhere he may be cheating.
I suggest you talk to him instead of jumping ton conclusions though.
Either answer is possible.

It is an evolutionary step in your relationship. If he wants to spend more time with you then he has to be liking you more. He's showing genuine care for you so if you are liking this you can build upon it. React well to his gestures but don't smother him. If he is private and likes his alone time smothering him will just push him away.

maybe your bf feels like you guys have lost eachother a little and is trying to get closer to you or treat you in a different way since hes not the cuddling type.. maybe hes just trying to mix it up and see what you think.

Take it as a good thing.. Its hard for many guys to open up and hes done it with you.. you should feel very special that a guy who is very private and to himself has brought down this wall of privacy to be affectionate with you..

More than likely, you have broken the protective shell he put around himslef, and wants to show you that you are special to him. He is letting you get close to him, which he is probably not used to, but is willing to do it for you.
This is a good thing.

Just be thankful it's you he's holding and not some other gurl.
Why over analize things and create drama. Enjoy the moment.

Maybe he just is just scared that he will lose you if he dont start being sweet and everything... Or maybe he was just scared to get close to someone but now feels as if he can trust you wont hurt him

ASK HIM, AND THEN YOURSELF, IF YOU FEEL THE SAME. IF YOU DO, TELL HIM SO RIGHT NOW, IF NOT I SEE HEARTACHE FOR THE GUY.
IF HE IS QUIET TYPE, YOU ARE GOING TO BE THE ONE TO PURPOSE. ( HE IS SLOW.) AT THIS RATE, YOU'LL BE MARRIED AND HAVE FEW KIDS IN SCHOOL
