If you don't know anything about the Kabbalah, please don't automatically resort to bashing God.

This is a real question. Atheists need not answer if you have the word LOGIC in your answer. .

THANKS! I want some real thinkers to contribute!

I think Christians and Jews could learn something from the Kabbalah..It is fascinating and compliments the Bible and Torah (which is part of the Bible anyway.)

Kabbalah is an aspect of Jewish mysticism. It consists of a large body of speculation on the nature of divinity, the creation, the origin and fate of the soul, and the role of human beings.

It consists also of meditative, devotional, mystical and magical practices which were taught only to a select few and for this reason Kabbalah is regarded as an off-shoot of Judaism.

Some aspects of Kabbalah have been studied and used by non-Jews for several hundred years. Actually I cannot explain it, but I think I see the attraction!

I just know a little about it. Some scholars say Pythagoras received his learning from Hebrew sources.

There is a substantial literature of Jewish mysticism dating from the period 100AD - 1000AD which is not strictly Kabbalistic in the modern sense, but which was available as source material to medieval Kabbalists.

According to its adherents, intimate understanding and mastery of the Kabbalah brings one spiritually closer to God and enriches one's experience of Jewish sacred texts and law.

My mom was a Jew and my dad was a Catholic, so I married a protestant and I am now a "born again" fundamental, bible believing Christian.

I experiemented pointlessly, for many years, with many faiths, all over the map, in my youth. I've read many "lost gospels" that are not in the bible, and extra "books" of the catholic bible, but I threw all that away!

My wanderings are now over.

What ever God's Word says, I believe, and I am not looking for more than that. I see that there may be more; but bible study is a life time of work!! I am not going to look to have my ears tickled!!!

I'm going to put the word LOGIC in here just to make you mad.

I think Kabbalah is another LOGIC religion that people only care about because it's cool. in few LOGIC years LOGIC no one is going to care about LOGIC them. They aren't any sort of threat to anything Christians and Jews believe.

Most Christians don't have a clue what it is and most Jews think it is "way out".
