Dear

Muslims have reason to respect the days Prophet Jesus was born and the day he die and the day he shall be raised upto life again.

Reason is; there is a Verse in Holy Book Quran about it in the chapter Mariam peace be on her.

Holy Book Quran, 19:33. And Peace be on me (Jesus Eisa) the day I was born and the day I die, and the day I shall be raised upto life again.

So your daughter can post this religious theme on her card for Muslims.

Technically, other than the secular observance, only Christians celebrate _Christmas_.

In a more general view, many cultures mark the Winter Solstice in one way or another. Most hold a recognition of rebirth, involving festivals, gatherings, rituals or other celebrations. Many cultures celebrate or celebrated a holiday near the winter solstice; examples of these include Christmas, Hanukkah, Yule, Kwanzaa, New Years, Diwali, and many other festivals of light

The link in sources would be a good place to start.

Good luck!

Christians celebrate Christmas. Others simply either exchange gifts or do nothing at all.
