They have an oatmeal that is soft and sprinkled with powdered sugar and a dab of jelly on them. Very good. One of my favorites. I saw them just today doing marketing and was tempted to buy some. They are made by archway. Go to an Archway display, they'll be there. They are still a big seller for them

Are you talking about Jam (or Jelly) Thumbprints??? They're a soft graham like cookie with a depression in the middle and baked with a teaspoon of jam/jelly in the depression?? There are tons of recipes for them......

Addendum:

Stoooooooooooooooooooooopid me, check on the FoodNetwork.com to find more than 35 recipes for them.....choose the one that looks the best or most familiar to you....Enjoy!!! BTW, these are a great recipe to make with kids......If you're pressed for time, you can always get some refrigerated sugar cookie rolls (think: Pillsbury) and proceed with the recipe from there......Red Apple Jelly and Mint Jelly work great this time of year (Yeah, the red/green Christmas motif)
