Man wants to be cheated so God allows so many foolish so called religions to go on. He is fulfilling every ones desires according to their karma. Eveything that is is already known so there is no need for scientific study. Everything is written within the Vedic Wisdom (The original "how to" boodk) But because man wants to be like God he struggles to try to discover something already known and takes credit for it when he finds the answer. That is due to false pride. Everyone blames God for the bad things going on in the world, but He never told us to come here, in fact He said "This world is very difficult to overcome. It will be a very long and difficult travel in the material worlds." But we persist like a difficult child who wants to try something new. So the father gives in. Only when one becomes extremely sincere and fully done with this illusion, will God then give them the process to come home. But sometimes He even tries to tell them over and over and the person is so stubborn and insincere that they accept false religions to be truth and again have to come back to the material world until they finally get it. Bhakti Yoga (The Science of Self realization is the path out of this enigma. Are ya ready yet? I am. Hope to see everyone there some life. I am sure I will. Why wait. there is nothing here but illusion hate and war. Oh and maybe a few people who understand things as they are.

In the postmodern world, the prevailing mindset is that all opinions of truth are equally valid, when in reality, this is an impossibility because two conflicting truths cannot both be valid. As a result, new religions do not develop because there is no need to convince masses of people that you hold the truth, because the truth is readily available everywhere. Science on the other hand traditionally plodded along as new discoveries were made, but like religion, science also has been influenced by postmodern thinking. Facts in science like facts in religion are no longer truth, there are mere statements of opinion, because other "scientists" will come up with counter facts to refute any claim. These counter facts may or may not be true, and are often based on a political agenda rather than a true search for truth.

Wow. Have you read Newman's "Development of Christian Doctrine".
1) Religion develops greatly but those who don't like that view of things resort to words like 'heresy' or 'innovation' or 'non-biblical'. The Catholic position is that Religion must develop.
2) One of the reasons science develops is that it doesn't have ultimate answers.
So when you think of development, try to contrast statements like 'Jesus is true God and true Man' -- a statement that has been elaborated for centuries because it is true and deep and admits of many dogmatic derivations -- and the Geocentric versus Heliocentric versus Relativistic view of the place of the earth and the sun, -- a development that didn't 'develop' but actually replaced a faulty previous understanding.
One is journey from simple truth to its implications and the other is journey from misunderstanding to less misunderstanding.

You are probably looking at less than 100 years of scientific progress, which can be linked to world population (among other things) compared to WHO KNOWS how many years of cultural development and demolition known as religion.
Apples and orangutans. Or did You mean that THIS is Utopia?

Science has become a religion of sorts. It is the religion of trying to explain a world without God. There are many truths in science and there are also many ridiculous theories which I believe are dreamed up in the mind due to long hours of exhausting study, trying to explain something that is impossible to explain...such as how the world exists without a creator. It shows mans feeble attempts to duplicate the Wisdom of God. And it is impossible. Medical Science, and knowledge is a gift from God. These foolish theories in science are the result of an exhausted, over-zealous attempt to prove the unprovable.
