... In regards to Your R&S opinion, on an issue; where they accuse you of "not being nice to other religions" Yet, they are the ones that are guilty?
I have recieved a TON of hate mail (from one "religious organisation" specifically) accusing me of "not loving others"
when i most certainly do that, and am very respectful.
They even reported all of my Q&A to get me suspened on purpose SIMPLY BECAUSE I STATED A FACT that due to the doctrines of their church, they cannont be classified as a "Christian Religon".
But, they accused me of "not walking in love" ALL BECAUSE MY OPINION WAS DIFFERENT.
We have doctrinal disagreements - but i AM ALWAYS respectful. AND they accused me of "hating" their faith because I disagreed with it's docrtines, respectfully.
One Idiot even wrote "yo trick shut yo mouth" then proceeded to try and tell me to "love others as Christ did". ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
None of thier comments had any truth in them!!!
What do YOU think about this?

By the way - THIS is the account they had suspened on purpose; but Y!A was very nice to me, and restored it after 3 days.
What do you think of such 'hate mail' and hyprocisy from 'religious organisations'? Is it not the most ridiculous thing?

plastik: My facts are always right; as i am the kind that researches thoroughly BEFORE i open my mouth on an issue. And i do not ramble off an opinion on an issue that i am not throroughly aquatined with. ALSO, i am extremely open-minded, having no bias whatsovever. I believe in Free Speech, and Freedom of Religion for ALL religions; not just my own.
I am assuming you are aware of the 'organisation' in question due to the 1st two lines of your answer. To me, they are biased as they insulted me for being a Christian, yet try to claim Christianity as their religion. How truly hypocritial. Even more so, THEY sent me hate mail trying to intimidate me out of my truthful, factual, respectful opinion that due to doctrinal discrepancies, they cannot call themselves a technical 'christian religion'. To me, I am embarassed for them, that they work by control and intimidation of anyone who challenges their doctrines.
That to me is frightening, for people of ALL religions.

Helga: i know that's not your real name.
Please grow up and stop harassing me.
I have reported your answer (even though i almost never report others on here). I am tired of your bigotry and prejudice as well as your tedious, tiresome rants and your extreme level of ignorance. Please leave me alone.
And to EVERYONE ELSE: THIS is what i am talking about. (people like HelgaW that are brainless idiots teeming with ignorance and hatred for anyone who disagrees with them!) *sighs* it gets old fast.

Hmm.
Makes me want to share MY extensive collection of hate and death-threat e-mails.
From? Uh...should I mention the group by name ... or ... just mention that they always claim to be the "religion of peace"?
Or ... leave it up to the reader's imagination to figure out who?
It's my observation that there are several stalker groups here on R&S. Take pride in the fact that you have opinions strong enough to attract a following. :-)

The questioner asked whose was the bloodiest religion and you gave a straight answer and whats more, provided justification from history. You have a right to your opinion, so I do not think the questioner was justified in accusing you of hate. I just think that questioner was touchy about receiving anybody's opinion which they saw as negative. This is a sign of too much religious closeting and not enough fresh air. I wonder, did you check the questioner's affiliation before you let loose your 'volley'? Chances are, if you're hitting the one they belong to, they don't really want to know. It is a sensitive subject, but then, the questioner shouldn't have asked. I am puzzled that you say you do not believe the tenets of this religion, but you keep in that same one for the social advantages. Not only do you not believe the doctrine, but you also consider it this religion one the bloodiest! And you say you vocally express your disbelief! What ARE you teaching your children?!! I find it incredible that you should be so (as scripture calls it) double-minded. You are like one of those mythical creatures, with the head of one thing and the body of another! This is dishonest : either support the thing wholeheartedly or get out and find another place that you can both believe in and enjoy socially, too. They do exist. Don't tell me there isn't such a place - is that what they've told you in the holy 'club' you're in, that there's no other place which God approves of? That is an outright lie and you need to stop believing it. All cults tell their members that and this is no exception, even if it is a big cult. You seem clued-up on history, so you can't be too dumb, so don't you know that history repeats itself and what this religion spilled of people's blood in the past it could easily do again, given the right circumstances - it has proved it? You tell me it could never happen again? But, are you sure that this isn't really the nature of the beast? And here you are, giving your time and money to feed and water it. Well, that's my opinion : you need to stop listening to your own convenience and start listening to your conscience instead. Wake it up, it's been sleeping too long!

Can you block users from sending you mail? If you can, you should just do that so you stop receiving it.
It's true a lot of people here are not respectful of others opinions even if you are trying to say something in the nicest way possible.
just keep posting what you feel and hope that other's stop bashing you, good luck *smiles*

Yes, hatemail sent because of someone stating their opinions or beliefs on this Q&A site is ridiculous. Fortunately, I have received any of that in a LONG LONG time.
I also have stopped telling others when I think their faith beliefs are wrong unless they are specifically asking what participants here think - which is rarely the case. I simply answer based on my belief and my understanding of my faith. I don't try to denounce anyone else's belief - because I do unto others as I'd want them to do unto me - and I really don't like it when people denounce my beliefs.
Just delete the emails - don't read them, you don't need to have those mean intentioned words put in your head. Ignore them, they'll get tired of trying and eventually they'll quit.

Well I know what religious group you are referring to, and you do have a very biased view of them. You do not always have your facts straight, but you know what, It never affects me. I really don't care. I just wish people (this includes all of us) would be a little more open minded and soft hearted. I know there are some of us younger ones that get a little frustrated with the same questions day after day about their faith that are always half-truths and taken out of context. i never email someone unless I am responding to an email they sent me. I usually forget about a response right after I read it. There is way too much contention on here sometimes.
(((beans4brains)))
*edit* Whatever dude. I know your so called research is lacking. But I can't make you see the truth, you have to come to that on your own. And your response to me, says you have a few personal issues. But don't we all.

Close your e-mail, change your setting to ''private'' and the problem is solved.
It is indeed sad that we have to ''hide'' in order to ''survive'' here, but there's no other way. Of course it's ridiculous and childish to attack someone only because a person disagrees with one's stance. So what?! What happened to freedom of speech?
I honestly don't believe in report policy. Even fools have a right to voice their opinion. It's us who need to grow thick skin.
EDIT: Helga's got issues. Serious ones.

Sounds like the reaction you are getting comes from a loser. I would suspect all that mail comes from the same person with different accounts - I can't imagine a whole lot of people from a particular religion agreeing to do it together.

This is one of the biggest problems with religion. It forces people to behave poorly, and justify it with faith in a personal interpretation of God's will.

I tend to delete most of my inbound mail, as I really don't care what people are contacting me about.
I only leave the option open so that I may email hot chicks.
