Nun, I came up with that same sort of betting style one day and luckily didn't try it the first time I went after thinking of it because I lost the first 13 hands I played. (-: Not playing pourly, just the dealer would make on bust cards, if I had 17, the dealer had 18, if I had 18 and so on. It was just a bad streak.

It would depend on how well you play. If you follow the rules that the help cards suggest, then you should be able to cash 1 in 7 most of the time. Sometimes the dealer gets hot, and has a long run. Other times the dealer is cold and loses most of the hands. The house always has the advantage, that is how they make money in the long run.
