I posted this along with an answer to a question recently, but by the time I put it up, someone had already reported you. As much as I disagree with your beliefs [and your tactics] it sucks that you're not free to say what you want without getting booted. I'm no one to judge you, I'm just sayin:

It's easy to copy and paste, isn't it? Gee, I wonder why all of your answers are private. If you're going to continually mock what people love and cherish deep within their hearts, can you please be man (or woman) enough to accept e-mails and back it up? My questions and answers are open for all to see. Feel free to read them... to judge me... to agree or disagree... then e-mail me with questions or comments or statements or even angry responses, and we'll talk about it. Why? Becuase I'm open to suggestion... I'm open to discussion... I don't get on here, spout off what I believe to be true, and then hide away marveling at how right I am, unable to be contacted by anyone who may disagree

Oh, and by the way... sorry to put you out there like this... I would have e-mailed you but- well, you know.

Edit: Right... but atheists aren't the only ones who get attacked and reported... and that still doesn't explain the need to completely shut yourself off to any communication. I have many atheist friends, and almost all of them are very intelligent and always willing to have a discussion about why they believe what they believe. Never once have they shouted that what I thought was stupid and then ran away with their fingers in their ears, which is what this reminded me of... lol.

I appreciate the honest answers guys! :) No worries... I'm not the stalker that reports you! I think I've only reported twice in my entire Y!A career (lol) and those were questions that were completely vulgar (pedophile stuff)... so yeah. It's not me! I was really hoping bongernet would actually respond though... the e-mail thing is really what bothers me. I mean... is receiving an e-mail from someone really that bad? If they're rude... just delete it!!! However, it could result in a stimulating conversation... I guess I should just let people be, huh? Oh well! His loss...

I would guess that, like many of us Atheists, Bongernet was forced to make his questions and answers private, because religious people were using them to report in mass.

I hate having my questions and answers set to private, but found that I had to do it, after receiving violation notices that were obviously done by a person going down the list of my answers and reporting each one.

Most of us feel good enough about our answers to want people to read them, so the privacy button is only useful when you are trying to defend against Christian stalkers trying to get your account deleted.

I don't like the Cut and Paste approach either, but bongernets post is only a couple of sentences verses the chapters that people like Lion of Judah and Catholic Crusader like to deploy.

Different strokes for different folks.

Edit....

Most of us have email availability enabled, to allow for communication, while defending against the reporters.

You are correct that many religious people get their accounts attacked as well, but if you look closely, you will find they tend to be Catholic, Muslim, Mormon or Non Denominational.

The people reporting the religious are religious themselves, and have a different flavor of belief with causes them to attach all others with differing opinions.

It's the only tiny piece of consistency, on this or else quick replacing international of ours. Curiously, Bongernet's remark acts as a sort of rock to hang to, some thing that Religion used to do, however by means of all money owed, does not, anymore. That's the curious irony of lifestyles. Someone so vehemently adversarial to Religion presents, in an subconscious approach, the very factor that Religion are not able to, or is not going to.

I think bongernet is the worst kind of bigot. His answers are very closed minded, especially when he adds on to his little copy and paste that he usually "answers" questions with.

Answering with the copy and paste is to me an indication that you can't answer the questions individually and uniquely. If you have nothing to add, just don't answer!

The funny thing is people hate it when Christians copy and paste Bible verses, yet him copying and pasting his hateful and bigoted little rant.

I once saw him answer a question about fasting by saying that he wished all Christians would just fast and starve themselves to death so he could be rid of us and our mind control cult. I've never liked his copy and paste, but that was the last straw for me. You don't have to be religious to be a bigot, and he fits the definition perfectly.

As a Christian (Anabaptist) who used to get reported by Athiests and True Believers alike under a different ID in this section, I feel where you're coming from.

Nil Illegitimus Carborundum as the dog Latin goes.

Sansfear said it all. If I were to leave my profile open, I'd be deleted every day, instead of every month or so. You really shouldn't assume Bongernet is closed-minded.

Edit: My mail is *always* open. You're just ranting.

bongernet gets bonus points in my eyes, it's using your opponents tactics against them....

what do christians say to every problem? "god has a plan for all of us, trust the lord, god bless" his answers are much the same...

"god is imaginary, take responsibility for yourself, quit blaming your imaginary friend"

*high5*
