At least according to the bible or whatnot.

So, in the beginning there was nothing. That's what the bible says, at least that's how I read it (the first page, then became bored). "god" created everything out of nothing. But there was nothing in the beginning. How can that be ? Is "god" an alien outcast and are we the results of experiments of a deluded madman ? Is "god" now something, or nothing ?

Provided she exists, that is.

Excellent question.

The creator doesn't "come from" anywhere. The creator does not "exist" in the way that universe exists. The creator is not bounded by space, and is not constrained by time.

The creator (as Paul Tillich says) is the "ground of our being".

According to the Bible, God says that He is the "I AM". He is. He always was. He will always be. He was before the beginning, and He will be after the end. God was, even before there was time.

As I am a finite being, limited by space and time, it is not possible for me to fully comprehend the creator. But I do have the ability to apprehend the nature of the creator.

My inability to fully comprehend an idea is not a sufficient reason to reject it. (I do not comprehend the inner workings of an atom, or the mechanics of electricity, but that's not reason enough for me to reject the idea of an atom or disavow electricity.)

The earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said,"Let there be Light." And there was Light.

God spoke the world into existence. He has always existed and will always exist. He has always been.

Hell was created for the devil and his fallen angels after the rebellion in heaven. It was never created for man. The reason man goes there is because they refuse God. They too rebel and since God is just, they must suffer the same punishment. Hell is a place of eternal separation from God. God is the very essence of life. He is the Giver of Life..and to be separated from Him is to wither away and die.
Just like a branch cannot abide away from the tree...lest it wither and die and be thrown into the fire.

God is a spirit! He always was and always will be read genisis 1:1-3,He moved over the face of the deep, and with words created every thing ther is!!just because you cant see Him doesnt mean He doesent exist, yet God answerd this question too,by becomming flesh(john 1:1),Jesus is God in the flesh!!!(visible)as amatter of FACT God created this earth because He LOVES you yet man sined(disobeyed God) (like you, didn't believe God) so to save you from eternal punishment,(because he LOVES YOU so verry much He became flesh jest like you and i)came to a place that hated Him even though He created them He lived to serve them healed all there sicknesses tought them to be good showed them about God He raised the dead all these things and meny more did He do just to prove who He truely isyet like YOU they still did not beleive!so Just because He loves YOU He was humiliated, hit, spit on,whiped, and hung on a cross and died for YOU!!! than 3 days later raised himself from death all this because He LOVES YOU!

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." John 1.1
He's the first and the last, and no we aren't experiments of a deluded madman, for madmen do not whisper words of wisdom or is a man of logic like Jesus was.
God is the same now as he was and will be, forever without end.

this is one reason i believe in God. If not why is there anything. We are just a spec on a spec of the universe. Where did it all come from? Big band or God? Neither does the question justice, if the big bang is true than how did all of the particles or whatever exist to create the big bang.

God is Spirit; Energy.

You cannot see spirit or energy.
There is nothing to see until that spirit or energy creates matter.

You decide to make a birdhouse. There is no birdhouse yet. First you have to have the desire to make the birdhouse. That desire is spirit, energy, which moves you to go out into your woodshop and begin the works that will bring the birdhouse from nothing into something. The energy was always there, it was just not yet directed toward making the birdhouse, bringing the birdhouse into existence.

How profound your philosophy. Does God exist? In what sense can God be said to exist? If God created all that exists, then he cannot be one of the things that exist. God must be outside of existence. How does this differ from atheism? Only in the attitude, the openness to the ultimate Ground of being, the Creator.

"beginning" implies "at the start of the bounds of time". God is eternal, and therefore not within the bounds of time.

God has always been, even before there was time, or anything physical to put into time. God does not come from anywhere, God is everywhere. God, from out side time, created time, space, matter, energy, tatertots etc. O.k., in all fairness, tatertots were a devine revelation to the R&D folks at Orida, but you get the idea.

P.S.:You'd better learn to stay on her good side...

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1
God always was.

John1:3 All things were made by Him and without Him was not anything made that was made.
that includes hell and satan.

the question you asked can only be understood and believed by faith.,your faith in God.
Unless you seek Him, realize you are a sinner, repent, and ask Him to dwell within and rule your life, sadly, you will never understand. I pray you take that step of faith.

Genesis 1:1: The Spirit of God was hovering over the waters of the deep. He then created the heaven and the earth. The world was void and without form. He gave it shape and separated the water from the land. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and will be the end.

This will blow your mind, man is not made to logically explain God, He is bigger than anything you can't imagine. Explaining it is not man's job. One day believers will discover the truth.

I think he likes to keep us guessing, so we don't think we are equal to him.
