i'm 17 and im charged with complicity,probation violation,delinquent/unruly child because i was a complice for stealing a car and going on high spd. chase. i've already been to court oct.21 go back jan.15 for pre-trial i got a good attorney . he said he thinks he can get me out of lockup and just have house arrest. but i want some other opionions from ppl that also have an idea on what might happen when final court comes around with them charges. thank you for all your help i appreciate it.

Advice: Listen to the attorney. He knows his court and how things go down. Do not listen to jail house lawyers, who have no idea what is happening where you are.

You want my opinion? Sounds like your attorney is too good.

If you are already on probation, you could use some time in lock up.

If this was my case, I would request the case be waived into adult court. At 17, that could still be a possibility.

if you stole my car i would want you locked up but in this case you didnt so first off if u havea good attorney and your paying alot for him more then likley ull get away with house arrest maybe a week or two in jail...trust me i know iv been there myself
