Are we to understand that Yahweh (YHVH) felt that he SHOULDN'T have made man? Does this mean that he made a mistake? Even other versions of the Bible say that YHVH regretted creating man.

What do you think?

(for the record, I don't even know why I'm trying with this question. I know the answers I'm going to get. Oh well. Let's dance *roundandroundandroundan'drown*)

Chapter 1: Yahoovah regretted making Adam and Eve and sent them packing from Paradise...

Chapter 2: Yahoovah's creations grew and multiplied, all sinful, so he decides to wipe them all out, except for the one righteous familiy: Noah and his wife and children....

Chapter 3: Once more, humans become sinful, so Yahoovah decides to send his son to wipe all sin with his blood...

This god guy just can't get a damn clue of what being human is all about.....what a dummy really....

God didn't make any mistakes-

humans have a real tough accepting responsibility for being so screwed up-

the action-reaction is absolutely perfect-

anger is the lack of control

joy is it's antithesis - this is not the creator's problem

"God" provided the lush garden - the rest is up to us

If we think there is some wise old man sitting in a throne and being bummed-out that humans are a mess-

well, that just makes the mess even worse-

put your train on another set of tracks - that railway is goin' nowhere-

a no-brainer

best thing is to be a positive force - Jesus didn't try to be all mystical when he said - you can give handouts but it's better if you;
"teach them how to fish" - (paraphrased)

bail on mysticsm - life is WAY to short to spend "dreaming castles" like that - get real - God is all about "getting real"

the Jewish conception of god is not like that of the Jesus followers. the ancient Jews did not see god as all powerful or all knowing being....just very powerful and very knowing....and not as the god of everything...just "their" god, the god of the Jews.

for the record...yes, even the bible confirms god can regret or think himself to have made a mistake. is this what you would expect from an all knowing entity?

God grieved because of the sinfulness of humans.
Noah's flood was brought about after the influx of fallen angels, how they had children with humans in Genesis 6.
Noah and his family were saved because through them the Christ child would be born generations later. It was a "pure" line without mix from the nephilium.

The Bible says He did. Why? I don't know. That doesn't prove anything nor does it shake my faith one bit. Keep those questions coming.

To good day - Your interpretation is totally incorrect.
