I am doing Blake's Songs of Innocence and Experience in English and wanted to know more about the poems. There are many biblical references to children in the poems and I just wanted to find out more.

There's a wide variety of opinions on this very general question. I will say that one striking thing is that the New Testament. It seems to encourage "child-like" tendencies out of adults, to encourage them to be pure and unquestioning and obedient. Christian adults are supposed to be the children of God, so to speak. The attitude towards how to treat children is usually to discipline them, but with fairness.

They are good with a bacon wrap if left in the oven at 350 for at least 2 hours. It is also good to rub down with butter and spoon drippings over the top every half hour.

Could you be a little more specific in your question?

I was trying to find it, but Jesus said something like "If anyone beats one of these young ones, it is better that he is tied to a millstone and throw him in the sea" or something like that...

Basically saying, it's a horrible thing to beat your kids and that you should love them.

Found it.

matthew 18:6
But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
