No way! I relate to myself all the time! Sometimes just out of boredom, other times because I need a good, hard relating. And then there are times I relate to myself simply because I can. I know when I get older, relating will be a thing of the past.

I would think that relating to yourself would be instrumental to relating to other people. How else would you have a constant to compare people by?

In the Abrahamic religions, it probably is. But in reality, who wouldn't want to relate to you? Especially you! One could call it insight, self-awareness, and mindfulness... all good things.

By asking that question it proves that it is not a sin. Introspection usually leads to harmony.
Harmony is harmony, disharmony is the only sin against *God, or your neighbor, or yourself.
*However you define (or not define) God.
