I made out with a girl about three weeks ago-- we were cuddling for the entire night and then started making out about an hour in-- but then we both had to leave school because it was thanksgiving break. We slept in her bed the entire morning and then before she left she kissed me goodbye and said how she really didn't wan to leave now. However, when we both returned 5 days later, she didn't make any effort to contact me, and only responded briefly to my texts.

I would think she was just blowing me off, but there is the fact that before break the two of us used to go on long walks (the kinda that last into the wee hours of the night) and eat dinner and stuff together. Also, we have a lot of mutual friends, though none of them really know what went down before thanksgiving.

Is she just blowing me off, or does she feel embarrassed about "jumping me"? I'm not the most forward in a relationship-- she may have gotten the wrong idea...

maybe you playing it too cool, do something that will interest her. Girls in the begin of a relationship like a mental challenge, before they fall... your playing it too cool. Don't be a a$$hole, but hide that you care a lot. She is probably scared of the relationship, going to fast.

She sounds like she might be the sort who is sensitive to getting attached or 'crowded' too quickly. Also be sure you're not coming off as aggressive. To someone else you might not be but perhaps to her you are coming off that way. It will only push her away.

Don't contact her about this anymore and wait for her to give you cues. If she doesn't then move on.

Ask her, if you can make out with her and do all of the other stuff that you did you sure can ask her a question like: It seems like you are blowing me off since we made out before break, I like you and would like to hang out again. Try honesty, it is the easiest and girls need to be held accountable for their actions,if not get one that does.

You need to just ask her, without any pressure. If she seems evasive, she isn't that interested but can't say it. If so, just politely drop it and move on.

Otherwise, she could be embarrassed, and if she says so, in that case you can assure her she's wonderful, and proceed from there.

But just ask, it's the only way to know, and obviously do it out of earshot of anyone else.

You definitely need to talk to her and get it figured out. My guess is that she's embarrassed, and may not actually be interested in you like that. But if you're okay with being friends with her still then you need to let her know soon so you guys can go back to normal.

tell her how you feel and ask her how she feels. it is the only way to find out why she is acting like this. it does sound as though you were quite close. maybe she is scared of being more than friends incase you lose the friendship

shes probably just scared of commitment.
the same thing happened to me recently and i found out from my best friend that he was too scared, busy, and stressed out.
most likely, the same thing is going on for this girl as well.

She's embarrassed by what she did. You guys are moving WAAAY too fast, and she knows it, and wants to pull back.

Give her some time to compose herself.
