i was thinking maybe do different shades of that one color i just don't know which color to use. i'm a fifteen year old girl i want something that my impress my friends when they come in my room to hang out.

I painted by rec room a yellow/beige color, it's not too yellow but all the furniture is black and it looks really good. You could also go with a coffe color or even a khaki. I did my son's room army green and wow it looks great. I love the earth tones because they are so calming and remind me of the outdoors! Black will go with just about anything except maybe pastels. Earth tones are really the in thing right now! Good luck!

I say make it 2 very contrasting colors, like black and bright pink, or black and lime green, or black and red if you're not too adventurous.
But make sure everything you see is either black or that other color, none of that knick knack in other colors that will disrupt this atmosphere!!

White walls with red trim or images on the wall. Find some cool silhouette images on the internet make some stencils and spray paint them in red on the white walls. Red Black and white look awesome together.

just have something that YOU like as a person. somthing that defines you as a friend to your other "homies"... lol something that you think is the best of the best...like the shades of red and black together or somethink...posters of hot guys on the ceiling or poetry above your bed...things that you like and do might inspire them to giggle and stuff... good luck!!!

I would do light blue. Like baby blue. I've seen alot of rooms with black, light blue, and white.

Light blue. It'll soften your mood when you're in there. Also add B&W artwork, and splashes of white.
