I'm personally sick of seeing people driving without all their focus and attention behind the wheel. I have seen way too many people have accidents and be the cause of the accident because they were talking on a cell. or texting.

What do you think?

DO you think cell phone companies should be held accountable too? Should they be forced to make phones with sensors so if your driving it won't work?

Yes, it should be illegal in all the states for a person to be using a cell phone while driving. I don't see anything wrong with a passenger using a cell phone though; after all, they're not driving.

I've seen people running red lights, have trouble parking, backing out, and invariably the nuts tailgating me are all talking on cell phones! Even those with the hands-free phones tend to concentrate on the conversation rather than where they're going.

Yes. And more and more it is becoming illegal, city by city.

Even in places where it isn't illegal, if I come up behind someone doing less than the speed limit, or playing bumper bowl with the lines and I notice a cell phone in their ear, I get right up close so all they see is the grill of my truck in their rear-view mirror and I lay on the horn, and I stay on the horn till they hang up, or move over.

YES.....................

In USA, the majority of car accidents are caused by irresponsible driving behavior.

Statistics show that 98 % of car accidents involve single distracted driver.

Among all these accidents, rubbernecking where drivers looking at other accidents, traffic or roadside incidents ranks top.

Studies also review that cell phones have recently sprung up as a common cause of car accidents.

Yes I think it should be illegal to use a cell phone while driving. I had a lady tailgating me one day while yakking a way on her cell phone. When the traffic stopped suddenly in front of us she swerved over in the other lane to avoid hitting my car.

That would be nice, and may reduce the accidents, but lets be realistic. The police would have no way to enforce that law. It would probably cut down on people doing it, but not enough to make a big difference.

If so, then driving with a hamburger glued to your mouth should be illegal too.
