evolution is a fact.....you will figure this out too if you study it.

I find it disturbing that religious nutters in America want to limit teaching what is pretty much the foundation of modern science

Beth:

The theory of evolution is a fact. if you take that as me telling you what to think then......well I feel sorry for you. but you believe the earth is a few thousand years old so that explains a lot

It is because it is the only thing that they can do.

Seriously, if there was a significant flaw in ToE then they would have used the regular scientific process to get rid of it. And they would all be very smug about it and use it as an example of where Science Got It Wrong Again.

But they can't. Because all the evidence available confirms ToE. Because every experiment done has confirmed the predictions of ToE.

They see the writing o the wall. Traditional Creationism is dead, it just has not stopped twitching yet. Instead of accepting reality and shifting to a 'God used evolution to produce us' like the Catholic Church has they have decided to fight.

But they can't fight with facts, so all they can do is pout and scream and lie and stick their heads up their, erm, 'creation museum' in the delusional thought that denial can change reality.

The leaders know that their days are numbered, but just as long as they are numbered more than their retirement date, who cares? So, stretch it out, rant and rave and appeal to the emotions of the followers. And whatever you do, don't let them learn any real facts. These attacks are a war of distraction.

Evolution is in simple terms attacked by utilising people who chosen to forget approximately it. the object and the discover do no longer something to disprove evolution. like a number of clinical theories, the belief of evolution is continuously being examined and subtle. Suggesting that Homo erectus and Homo habilis at the instant are not area of a linear chain isn't any diverse than while scientists accumulated sufficient data to posit that Homo sapiens replaced into no longer a descendent of the Neanderthals (who existed on a similar time as early sapiens).

Evolution is a fact if you choose to believe it is. It's not up to you to decide what's fact and what's not. That's called - TELLING SOMEONE WHAT TO BELIEVE. That's not up to you!

I don't believe the earth is as old as you read about, but I'm not here to shove that "theory" down anyone's throat. It's MY belief... and MINE only.

A little mind is a terrible thing to waste. By the way, I would check your grammar before you call ME uneducated. You are a narrow-minded person that's afraid to allow others to just simply believe what they want to believe. You're somehow afraid that if others believe differently from you that it may in some way discount what you believe. You are allowed to believe whatever you want, just don't come on here telling everyone else that what they believe is WRONG. I never once did that to you. Theories are only real to those that believe they are. There are some people that believe God is not in fact a real "being". I am not saying that I do or I don't. It's not up to me to make that final decision. Everyone is born with the capability and right to believe whatever they want to believe.

It is foolish to fight science (not-the false science).
I am afraid that America will be left behind in Science education, I think America will compete with African countries in science education test.
It is a shame, people come from other countries to learn science and math in USA. The trend will reverse if these fundamentalist get their way.

While I will grant you that evolution is fundamental to modern biology, I wouldn't say it's the foundation of modern science. Newton's Laws and calculus were much more fundamental to physics, for instance.

The more people see that they are wrong (those who do not believe in evolution) the louder they scream. I'd guess it is because they are trying to convince themselves.

hmm.... evolution is a fact. isn't the attack on Christian faith based on arguing that we believe in what we can't see and have no proof of other than a book? evolution is based on the same principal: believing in something you can't see and have no proof of other than books. Which would you rather believe, that God created everything in seven days (which by the way the bible says one day to God is as to a thousand days to man and a thousand days to God is as one day to man, so time is irrelevant in Christian faith just as it is in "science" since someone in the beginning of scientific study had to decide on a number out of their own mind as to how old things were) or believe that you came from bacteria and after thousands of years of evolution a little bacteria stood up and could walk and talk and there you were? I think I'll continue to have faith in God, Christ our Savior, and the Bible the Holy word of God. I find it disturbing that people think we came from bacteria and monkeys. Have a wonderful day and God Bless You.

The evolution of man from apes is not a fact. The fact is people have been pushing the THEORY for years and it is not a fact. You will figure this out when you know the difference from fact and theory.

FYI I am atheist and not a religious nutter
i would consider the evolutionists on the same level as the religious nutter (your term). They both claim truth without proof.

It does seem to do a much better job of explaining where all that life went and where all that new life came from. None of the gospels seem to have any knowledge of it; I wonder why.

Look, evolution is not a fact. If you want to play that game. All of it has been written before our time. So, all of it really is based on a faith. I mean you were told you have a brain, have you ever seen it, touched it, etc? No, so then the theory of you having a brain is also based on faith.
