I try to INSTRUCT - this is Yahoo ANSWERS after all, and insulting someone isn't usually answering their question. Sometimes I insult ... some of the time without meaning to. The other times when I'm just fed up.

Absolutely instruction. Instruction is about teaching and clarifying. Insulting does nothing more than cause negativity to both the receiver and the one spewing forth such hurtful words.

I'll engage in instruction if a person actually has a real question. If a Christian wants to proselyte or pick a fight, I am not insulting their ridiculous beliefs.

Instruction. Insults do not encourage anyone to grow.

Instruction because insult adds to injury and helps no one.

Neither. I'm a terrible teacher and I am too concerned with what others think of me to insult them (especially since I am rather thin-skinned myself, and would not want the favor returned).

I relay my experience. Anything other then that would be extremely arrogant when the information can be found elsewhere.
