It varies. I knew a woman who turned completely gray by the age of 16. Another friend, a guy, has a nice full head of hair, but it was gray by his mid-20s. Most people start to turn by the their mid to late 40s.

i personally do not think that there is a certain age limit to the gray hair thing. it's just that when you stress or even when you dye your hair entirely to much you will get gray hair. i think it all comes from stress and it results as gray hair. It could have something to do with age, but that's not where the problem begins.

it depends on your genetics. your body automatically does certain things to indicate age. a the timer on certain aspects can go off early or later.
some folks get gray hair early. (i got mine when i was 16) and other may not get gray hair but they may age in the face.

It depends on your genes. I started getting white hairs at the age of 15. Getting white hairs dosen't mean that you are getting old, its just like another hair that grows. So it all depends on how its run down in your family.

I belive garying of hair is a heriditory factor. Look at your parents, do they have gray hair? When did they start getting grey hair. Another factor that can increase your personal risk along with heriditory would be your enviroment. Hope this helps. ;-)

Gray hair can happen at any age or not at all. It is based mainly from heredity.

Differs from person to person - some is hereditary. Did your parents start greying early? My sister has been almost 100% grey since her 30s, as was my mother. My niece is 19 and getting grey hairs. Uncle had almost none into his 70s.
