What is the average time in the army for a 0-1 to move up through the ranks? I am on the enlisted side now and I have the TIS Im just trying to find out if I get commissioned how long I should expect to spend TIG in order to move up through the ranks.

Are you already scheduled to go to OTS? You might want to concentrate on getting that one first!! That's a little harder to do.

In the first place, it's not 0-1 (Zero-One), it's O-1 (Oh-One, as in O(fficer)-1).
