I have two children exactly 2 yrs apart. My daughter just turned 3 and my son will turn 1 next week. It is very difficult to manage both of them. The older one is used to having all of the attention so she has tantrums because of it and my son is also asking for attention. Plus I'm a full-time working mom and I also go to college. It's tough but if you don't have to work or anything, then by all means, go ahead and have them. You'll have enough time to spend with each one of them. Good luck!!!

I don't yet but I will. My daughter was 10 months old when I conceived this one. If I deliver in May (due May 22nd but last 2 babies came at 37 and 35 weeks) she will be 19 months when baby is born.
The pregnancy has been rough so far. Being so tired and sick in the 1st trimester and having to constantly be after a crawling baby. And now having severe tail bone pain, to the point I can barely pick her up is very hard.
Another thing I noticed different about this pg compared to the rest (all my other kids are 2.5-3 yrs apart) is the pregnancy is FLYING by! With having a baby still learning new things every day it makes time fly and most of the time I barely have time to sit and think how much time I have left to go!

My wife and I had twins that will be 5 years old next year. The only option was both of us get up every 4 hours during the night for feeding them. It was double the diapers and double the formula and everything else so we were broke all the time.
But now, its great. She works from home and they goto preschool in the morning so she can go shopping or whatever, then after lunch they always have someone to play with and she can get work done.
Neither of us have any other kids so we cant compare it to anything else, but having 2 the same age worked out great so far (after that 1st 2 years).

I have a 3yr old a 2 yr old and 36 weeks pregnant with #3 It's busy but do able. You will be fine if you really want this than I say do it. I found being organized is the best thing. Other than that I haven't had too much trouble and I do it alot on my own as my husband is in the military,

My daughter will be 2 years and 2 months old when our new baby is born if I go to term.
That means two in diapers.
It is doable, just make sure hubby is uber-supportive and you have a supportive network of friends and family to help you out if you need a break :-)
Good luck!

Our two kids were born 20 months apart and my wife was a stay at home mom. We had a few sleepless nights but we made it okay. The kids, both girls grew up together and now they are both in their fifties and best pals with children of their own.

I am not the mother(obviously) but I can tell you that our children are 18 months apart in age. My wife was a stay at home mom and did fine. It was nice to raise kids that were close in age because they could relate to one another more easily.
