I bought my computer (desktop) around 4 years ago and I am having a problem with my Microsoft Works Word Processor. It's saying that some of it's components are missing and that I need to re-install. Well, I cannot find my disk anywhere! Is there somewhere I can re-download it from online? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you really want to continue to use MS Works, I would suggest updating since it's only $39.95 (USD)

Otherwise I would try IBM Lotus Symphony (free) and start using a standard file format for saving your documents.

If you switch, you will have to open your existing files in Works, copy all the text, then paste it into Symphony (or any other better word processor). But you only do this for docs as you want to use, not all of them at once.
