At the new school my mother teaches at they are no longer allowed to have Christmas parties. If they have a party around this time of year they now have to call it a Holiday party. My mom says she's just not going to throw a party this year because she refuses to do that and I totaly agree with her. Am I the only one that thinks that this is gettting a tad bit rediculious?

Yeah!

We can't even have the colors red and green associated together at my school!

Yet Jewish people come in with their little hats on the back of their heads.

You know what?

Tomorrow I'm going to wear a total Christmas-y outfit!

And stand up for my religion!

My daughter had a teacher who only threw a party for Black History Month and the End of the Year. She said that she did not agree with religion and was not in any way going to acknowledge it, even for the kids

so yes I understand, but you Have to think about the Kids, Will they Understand?
