Supposing there is a huge divine plan, and God did exist, wouldn't the Devil be interested in using fallen or atheist people to get in the way of the believers, and push them off-course, and eventually and hopefully turn them from God completely?
I mean even for non-believers, who try to be good people, do you ever encounter bad-seeds, or shady types that after a while can be a danger to yourself, your career and your family?
Perhaps this should be asked to non-believers as well as believers, because we all, regardless of religious beliefs, have to encounter bad life circumstance, personal tragedy, illness, and encounter people who end up harming us more so than causing any good to come out of it.
Now, since I'm a believer, or at least WANT to believe, better than believing Bush and humanity (eye roll), the closer you turn to God, will your life get harder and you're setting yourself up as a major target for the devil and his minions?
If that's the case, why torture urself?

I mean think about it, you're turning to God to perhaps make your life easier, and give you clarity, and instead you get an even harder life, becuase you're now a target for the devil and his minions even more than u were before.
Seems like a no-win situation for me.
In any case, believe in god or don't, we all need to protect ourselves and know the bad people from the good, and make good life decisions.
I mean, look, there may or may not be a God, but you can't deny the fact that everyone lives in their own reality, and that some people's realities are way too screwed up.
It's like, even if you don't believe, let's say you invite a man into your life, like the Unimbomber, don't know it, and later on you and your family gets destroyed.
I think it's just important for all of us to I guess, discern harder than we do, because what appears good on the outside may be rotten on the inside.
For the believers, is there anything you can do, to beat increased attacks?

Ephesians 6:10-
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.
Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with TRUTH, and having on the breastplate of RIGHTEOUSNESS;
And your feet shod with the preparation of the GOSPEL OF PEACE:
Above all, taking the shield of FAITH, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
And take the helmet of SALVATION and the SWORD OF THE SPIRIT, which is the WORD of God.
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.
We are not defenseless. He that is in me is greater than he that is in the world. Jesus has already defeated Satan. We need to walk in His victory.
The fiery darts will come but when you don't allow Satan to mess with you, he quickly tires and goes away. We suffer with demons only if we invite them inside. We work out salvation with fear and trembling because the Holy Spirit is purifying and refining us. We eventually reach the point to where we absolutely hate sin, evil and oppression. We love the Lord so much that we cannot tolerate what He dislikes.
To the OVERCOMER is eternal life . We will rule and reign with Christ in His kingdom.

Everybody is in your life for a reason. Even believers can "push" you off course. God puts all kinds of people in your life, whether they are Christians, atheists, non believers, etc. He then lets you make the choice whether you want to continue on with these relationships.
People are ALWAYS a major target for the devil, not matter where they are in their lives. You could be the most devoted Christian on the face of this earth, and the Devil will still bombard you.
You just have to have faith and believe. If you let it get to you, then yes life will be hard no matter what religion you are. Believe that you are on this earth for a reason and that you are here for the greater good.

I think you are confused by an oversimplified religion
faith is that god brings things to you (pain mostly) for a divine purpose. to be learned from
it is not a belief that your religion is right
all the worlds religions have things in common
believe those things
the devil is actually "temptation towards selfishness"
does an atheist tempt you to be selfish
your religion is more damaging than some guy asking you to question it...
want to go to heaven
be a pure person
dont lie, steal, manipulate, forgive, non-judgment, acceptance and love of others

good factor... i'm uncertain how they are able to declare we are working for the devil. The logic it extremely is used to declare it extremely is, nicely, illogical. the entire "while you at the instant are not for my faith, then you definately're against my God" ingredient has been worn so skinny, there is basically threads left... no longer something nicely worth patching up anymore. in specific circumstances however, I would desire to admit, it extremely is humorous while they initiate assuming issues. so a ways I particularly have been instructed I summon up demons to attack Christians (I had no thought I had this style of skill... I would desire to run for President), I lie to human beings into believing my own faith (yet, no person seems to appreciate precisely what my ideals are.... uncertain how i'm deceiving them then) and... it extremely is my in demand.... I dance with devils so as to benefit favors. I swear a number of those individuals are nonetheless residing in the lifeless of night a while.

As believers, our test and trials come to make us stronger. The devil cannot defeat us because God has already defeated Satan a long time ago. Satan has deceived even himself, thinking He going to win and he's not. Life is sweeter as a believer, once you know in whom you believe and have your trust. There's an understanding that God is fighting the battle for you...all we have to do is believe. I don't care, what the trial is...if you just hold on..and believe in what Christ has already accomplished, then you already got the victory. Actually, the battle that we face are already won...we're just walking through it, going through the motions because we know....we BELIEVE it to be so that in the end WE WIN!

(Ephesians 6:13-18) 13 On this account take up the complete suit of armor from God, that YOU may be able to resist in the wicked day and, after YOU have done all things thoroughly, to stand firm. 14 Stand firm, therefore, with YOUR loins girded about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and with YOUR feet shod with the equipment of the good news of peace. 16 Above all things, take up the large shield of faith, with which YOU will be able to quench all the wicked one’s burning missiles. 17 Also, accept the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit, that is, God’s word, 18 while with every form of prayer and supplication YOU carry on prayer on every occasion in spirit. And to that end keep awake with all constancy and with supplication in behalf of all the holy ones,

Read Ephesians 6:20 where it talks about the full armor of God. Yes, it may set us up as targets, but if you pray, fast, and keep the faith, you'll make it through and will wear a crown of glory for all eternity.

I like how you used the word "fallen" for Atheists. I never believed so I'm not "fallen." Also, are you implying that Atheist don't go to Hell because God and the Devil do not exist for them? Sounds like you're already implying that they're both made up. :-)
