how do i disable write protection on an sd card?

Trying to copy photos from pc. Have tried flicking small switch at side of card but to no avail

That little slide switch is the answer. Maybe you have not pushed it all the way to the opposite side or maybe the sd card is defective.

Try to format the card first that way you will know if there is a problem with your card. Does the card register with your computer or not as the card could be already full......
