And Why?

There is no need for anyone to make nasty comments about the Bible just because you don't believe in it. If you don't have a favourite scripture, don't answer.

I am not a believer at all, but there is one scripture that I always liked as it sounded so nice and is appropriate even for a non-believer such as myself. I don't know where it is though but it says something along the lines of:

"as apples of gold in silver carvings is a word spoken at the right time for it"

I like it as it means that sometimes a word spoken at the right time is more meaningful than any precious gems/metals etc, well that's what it means to me anyway.

Hi Sister in Christ,

I am not a Jehovah's Witness; but am familiar somewhat with your beliefs that I also fully support. (Not listed in order of importance.) You and I believe in no paid ministers; freely we have received Truth from our loving Sovereign Savior Jesus and freely we share ! We do not worship or pledge to any mere nations or their flags. We know and teach that there is no "hell" (or worse) no "hell-fire and damnation". We also know that Jesus Christ is also known as Jesus Christ Michael. Jesus won over all spiritual wars in AD 30 and eternally. See and believe John 12:31-32 and Rev 12:7-8 also Dan 10:21 and 12:1-4

The Bible verses that I love to share and teach the most are John 16:7-16 to all intelligent humans and John 17 and Rev 21:3-7 to a few who already are God-conscious and Born in Spirit in Jesus here with us now and forevermore. Amen !

Note to those who like John 3:16. So do I; but be sure to include John 3:17 !! and that ties in with John 12:31-32 !!

Peace and progress,
Brother Dave, a Jesusonian Christian Truthist

And this is one of the very few scriptures that appears more than once in the Bible:
Many are the ways that seem right to a man that lead only to death.

Isaiah 41 v 10 and 13.
Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not gaze about for I am your God. I will fortify you. I will really help you. I will really keep fast hold of you with my right hand of righteousness.
For I, Jehovah your God, am grasping your right hand, the One saying to you, "Do not be araid. I myself will help you".
I found these scriptures really upbuilding and encouraging, when I was going through a really bad time.

One of my favourites is Revelation 21: 3-4 because it promises an end to death forever. Death is so alien to us and no one in their right mind ever wants to die.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was quite good. It was a bit more indepth than the other scriptures in the series and seemed to have more action in it.

My favorite is Proverbs 27:11 - we can bring joy to our heavenly Father (Jehovah) when we observed ALL His commandments.

Probably the 23rd Psalm because if you know anything about sheep, you know that they are as dumb as a rock. You have to force them to "lie down in green pastures" and "lead" them "by still waters". And it makes all the more sense to me understanding this when you consider that we are God's flock of sheep.

Another one that I like is in Ephesians with the spiritual armor of God. It really gives me confidence.
