He is aware of your age right? If so just tell him that you BOTH are too young for marriage at the moment. Tell him you want to stay with him and be with him and if things continue you would love to get married to him but NOT YET. Make sure he understands that you are by no means rejecting him but that you just think it's best that you two wait ... for now. Maybe set a time frame ... like I don't want to be married until I am 22 (which is still young) and go from there!!
If he is really in love with you he will wait. If he can respect your wishes and understand that you are just not ready yet ... than he certainly is not someone you should marry!!

You're both too young to get married. Also, you've only been dating a short time - wait until you've been together for at least 2 years before making that sort of decision.

If you are having doubts, then I would definitely not do it. Well at your age, I wouldn't do anyway. As mature as you feel, there's soo much more growing up to do. I got married at 19 and was happy for several years, but it didn't last because I grew up and realized that I wasn't ready for it.

Marriage is a serious business.I think you're not ready for that and the guy is not ready either.Talk to him and let him understand about the whole matter, he must see the real true in this crazy idea of his.

I think that you don't want to marry him. I mean if you really want to, you wouldn't ask us about it.
so tell him that you are too young and that you just want to get to know him better.
If it turns out that he is the love of your life you will have a future together. and a marriage won't change our relationship. it's just a ceremony.

You need to wait-17 is too young. You have a lot of things to discover and find out about yourself. If you do not feel reqady he should respect that if not tell him "later" and move on.

if he wants to get married and you really love him and he loves you then he will understsand and wait untill you are ready but if he's like if you dont marry me then were done then he's not worth it

tell him to wait for you. if he's a real man he will. if you're not ready you shouldn't do it. i don't think you would want to go through a divorce. not fun stuff. especially if you end up with children.
