How do i save a document to a flash drive on microsoft word 2007? (vista)

Click on save as but don't save to Desktop, it sometimes causes conflicts. To be safe, save in your documents folder.

Then you can copy and paste on the flash drive.

Might be an idea to format the flash drive first if it's not clean

Save your document via "Save as". Save it to the Desktop or any other folder. Now just copy and paste it onto your thumb drive.
