There are State laws. Each state is different. 14 is the youngest that I know of. To get a hunting license they have to take a hunters safety course. The laws are enforced the same way all hunting law are enforced State wildlife and conservation officers patrol.

May be a state law typically children are required to have a hunters safety course to get a state hunting license, however to go out back with their parents and shoot some cans does not require a permit.

2nd Amendment prevents the Federal Government from infringing on any Americans right to bear arms so, no federal laws that I am aware of no.

Hunter and dead set against paying for processed beef. Feel free to stop by my back 50 and see the dead carcass of starved deer next spring. Usually is one, sometimes 2.

It's a State law in Arkansas. You must take a Hunters Safety Course and purchase the licenses for the game you are hunting. I have seen kids as young as 8 in the paper showing their quarry.

In Wisconsin you must take a hunters safety course before you can hunt. Then you can begin hunting at age 12. And each state is different for the age and requirments.

You'll be sorry when these poor animals start an open season on hunters... I, of course, will applaude them

***EDIT*** you can "thumbs down" me all you want... I am completely entitled to my opinion. And don't give me the whole animals are over-populated b.s... I don't want to hear it.
