Ugh....don't listen to anyone who says "LULZ....DRINK MILKSHAKES" They're blithering idiots. You should start a light lifting routine. This is great, because it tones your body, and makes you gain muscle, which weighs 3x more than fat. Jogging for about half an hour for 3-4 days out of the week would work wonders too, building up muscle and burning up any fat you may have.

Good Luck!

Do the exact opposite of your heavier peers. Keeping nutritionally sound, eat a high carb, higher fat and high protein diet. Now I bet you think I am going to tell you to sit back on the couch and chow on potato chips - WRONG! I do recommend exercising to get your body in great shape and to gain great muscle tone and weight.

Talking to a dietitian is the safest way... that way, you can work with them to set up a meal plan and exercise regiment to help you gain weight.

Also, to note, the WORST way to gain weight is just to eat more... it's moreso eating the right things to gain the weight to make sure you're getting more of the healthy stuff.

20lbs is a lot and not knowing what your habitus is, it's possible your frame may struggle with that additional weight.

sure fire way to gain weight, reduce meals from 6 to 3, increase daily caloric intake to 2500 calories, exercise 3 times a weeek. look at a reduction in cardio from 1 hour to 40min

that should be a good starting point

It all depends on what you like to eat but as people say eating junk food is the best way to gain weight because in england people are complaining that children are getting obese from eating to much junk food and not having a proper diet. so in other words spend a week at McDonalds or other fast food outlets.

Try to slowly gain the weight with a higher calorie, but healthy diet. Make sure that you exercise a bunch too, as muscle weighs more than fat. Exercise will also make the weight more evenly distributed. Good luck!

Well, even if you never WEIGHED more than 98 pounds, don't worry. Time will take care of it. I weighed 95 pounds up until I was 35 (except through my pregnancy). Eventually, I filled out. Wish it worked the other way 'round.

although i cant imagine why as you will gain that weight soon enough
1. go to a GNC or vitamin store and ask for advice or nutrient shakes and weight gain aditives.

2.get married. does it for most people!

3. give up! you'd be suprised to find that most things happen when your not trying! notice how you always find things your looking for when your not looking??!

I would recommend doing some weight training and consuming more calories, preferably those with vitamins and nutrients and not just empty calories. I would recommend eating more fruit and drinking for fruit juice. It contains calories, but also has great vitamins.
