Making a difference?

Question

for school i have to either take a picture make a video(but i dont have equipment) write a poem or story of how "I can make a difference...." i have no clue what to do.........all answers are apprectiated

First you need to identify the problem or a problem you would like to help solve...then in your mind work out a visual concept for an image that not only identifies the problem, but conveys the sense of how to fix it.

Here's an idea, I have been playing with (a concept really)
I live on the edge of a national forrest in the north east, and to my disbelief, I see logging occurring all over the place. Now to my mind, land set aside to be protected, need not be "managed" for harvest by loggers.

Here's the concept for the image...find a dead tree, or one that is clearly dying, dress up a model or your self as a nurse or doctor, stethoscope, thermometer and all and have someone make the photo while your go through the motions of giving the tree an examination. It's a rough concept that needs some refinement, but you get the idea.

If you want to "make a difference", after you finish college get married, have children, and discipline them, setting rules and boundaries and enforcing them. Work every day, save and invest 10% to 15% of your salary, be faithful to your spouse, volunteer at least 2 hours a week at a hospital or nursing home or homeless shelter,use alcohol in moderation (if at all), stay away from drugs and I guarantee you'll make a difference.

I'd love to inform your teacher that one could certainly say that Adolph Hitler definitely "made a difference" although in a very destructive way.

i can make a difference by....
eating in space,
taking a pace,
giving charity cash,
making a splash,
doing a poo,
and not missing the loo,
being just me,
that is all i can be!
