If you decide to try to dry it - keep checking inside the cushions to be sure that mold does not develop. It could be bad for your health if it does.

Depends how hard you want to work drying it out and hoping you can with out a musty smell developing later. If you do decide you will need a wet & dry vacuum or a portable rug shampoer to suck out as much water as possible. Then you will need a portable heater or very good hair dryer and start drying it but make sure the heater is not too close as it may catch fire. Why not try going to an auction you usually find good sofas going really cheap especially country auctions but then you would have to have a way to get it home.

In addition to what pat.moor said, who knows if the moisture left over deep inside of it will be cause for a problem with mold, bugs, etc, who knows what. I wouldn't bother. Damp is one thing but I wouldn't bother with it if it was actually left in the rain.

Depends on if you know someone without a place to sit.If you do,then tell them to get it and prop up the cushions and put a fan on them to dry them well.Put it somewhere til it dries.if there is any odor spray litely with vinegar,it kills odor. The longer is dries the better.Hope this helps.

I would never put that much time and effort into something that is probably going to get moldy and stinky inside. Very difficult to get it dried all the way in to the core.

if it is in good condition otherwise and you like it yes it would be worth saving . use a wet / dry vac or carpet extractor to suck out as much of the water as possible clean it as you go to disinfect it put it into an area with really good ventilation to help dry it out as quickly as possible. good luck always remember one mans trash is another mans treasure
