Hi,
on july 2008 i'm going to visit Twickenham city (and its stadium)...i'll arrive at Luton airport and i know that there are 80 km between the airport and twickenham....my question is...could you tell me the easiest way ( e.s. tube) to reach twickenham??

Catch train into London then tube to twickenham buy an all day ticket it is cheaper

The distance is actually 60 km, Take the First Capital Connect train from Luton Airport Parkway to Blackfriars; then the Underground to Waterloo (changing at Embankment). From Waterloo take South West Trains to Twickenham. All these services run frequently, You can buy a through ticket from Luton Airport Parkway to Twickenham, covering all strands of the journey

Hello Matteo.
If you arriving at Luton airport, you will need to take a train or bus to central london:

From Central London, you will need to get to WATERLOO train station. Services to Twickenham normally depart from platforms 16-19, and are really regular - about every 10 minutes.
It'll cost about £4.00 off peak.
The stadium is easily signposted from Twickenham train station.
And by the way, Twickenham is not a city, just a part of London overall.
