When I was in the 5th grade, my teacher wouldn't let me go and I puked on the floor. Teachers are ******* about that kind of stuff. It wasn't until I was much older did I realize what Nazis they were when we were in school- can't keep a drink in class (so we were all dehydrated) cant eat (so we were all hungry), can't pee (so we all had exploding bladders- it's all crap.
I say if you have to go legitimately, just get up and go. If she bitches, say, would you rather I pee in my pants? How can they punish you for that?
If you are in grade school, tell your parents. let them deal with it. My parents would have said something if it was a real problem.

Go between classes whenever possible, and go in a different teacher's class if you must. Your class can't possibly be more than 2 hours long (the longest I've ever seen/taught is 90 minutes), and unless you've got a medical problem there's no reason you can't hold it that long. If you have a medical problem, your parents need to let the school know. If you're in the same class with the same teacher all day (anything's possible), and she still never lets you go, tell the principal!

I never understood that when I was in school. You only have 5 minutes in between classes to walk from one side of he campus to the other, and if you go to the bathroom and you're late to class you get written up. When you ask the teacher during class if you can go, they say "No" because they're afraid you'll try to skip class.
I'm currently studying to get my BA in history so I can be a teacher and, unless there are certain regulations against it, my kids will be going to the restroom if they need to go. BUT, I'll be giving them a time limit. If they're not back within so much time, they'll be written up.
Perhaps you should get your parents to talk to your teacher about it. First of all, there's no sense in having to sit in class bouncing your legs because you have to pee so badly. Secondly, having to hold it can cause serious health problems later in life.
Good luck!

Get up and walk out. She can't keep you from using the restroom. Its not good for your kidneys.
When she sends you to the office or whatever, just tell the principal or whoever that she should have let you go to the bathroom and you wouldn't have just gotten up and left without her permission.
I know what its like in between class changes. Your classes are on opposite sides of the school, the halls are crowded with kids, girls are blocking the entrance to the bathroom making sure they look good for their crush, you have to go to your locker for books, and all of this in 3 minutes. It's crazy!!!
Walk out. I've done it and never was told I couldn't go to the bathroom again.

tell the principal. give specific times when you've asked and she said no. take some other classmates with you if they'll go. tell your parents too.
in the meantime, go to the bathroom before her class, assuming you only have her once or twice a day. if you have to go while in her class, ask for the pass. if she says no and doesn't give you a good excuse, take the pass, do your business, and go to the principal. if she gives you a hard time about it, you can always say that you have an upset stomach. believe me, no one will ask for proof.
man, even inmates are allowed to pee.

That depends. Are you going to check out your hair and makeup or do you really have to go? In my school they took the mirrors out of the girls' restrooms, and all of a sudden not many girls wanted to go anymore.
But, if you really have a control problem, get a note from a doctor and that should take care of it.

i've had a teacher like that...I just got up and left the class to go use the rest room. She didn't like that much though...because after I did that, every other student started doing it too. We all got detention for it...the entire class...all 50 of us.

Leave the room and go to the nurse's office. Pee there, then see the principal and explain why. It is illegal to not allow a student to use the bathroom, unless it's all the time.

Go before the class starts, or if you REALLY have to go during the class and she says no, go anyway, and tell the principal and your parents what happened.

You need the help of an adult in this situation. Have your parents, grandparent, aunt, uncle, guardian or another teacher who is nice help you out. The bad teacher must be reported to her supervisor immediately. She is being cruel.
