All the temples are powerful, but still the temples were there are the jeeva samsdhi of certain siddhas will definetly be more powerful than the rest.
In Tirupathi there is the jeeva samadhi ot the Siddhar Koraakar & Bohar in Pazhani.
In such temples they will be giving their power always as they are the ones who give the sakthi or energy a form of a particular God.Their spirit will be there surrounding the temple & protecting it.

There is only one Golden Temple. This is in Amritsar. It is well known all over the world as Golden Temple. In India almost all big and known temples are either adorned with gold panels or gold crowns ( sometimes the crowns of gold weigh more than 100 kgs, too). Few are now being covered with gold plating. Even in Amritsar, the well known Durgiana temple is being covered with gold panels at this moment.

Your own body is the most powerful temple .In which the Brahman is sleeping in the sanctum sanctorum of the conciousness. The outer temples and piligrimages are only useful until you discover that everything is here and now so look into yourself first the body then the mind and the conciousness.

The powerfulness of a temple very much depends upon the extent of the faith in the heart of the pilgrim himself. If you want to know which of them attract largest number of pilgrims, I will say, Tirupati and Tirumala, Vaishno Devi, Vindhyavaasini devi,Jagannath Puri,Shri Sai Baba Shirdi, Shri Siddhivinayak at MumbaiA feeling of extreme ecstasy entered in me when I visited Maihar Devi in M.P. I had the same exotic feeling of intense ecstasy when I visited Sheeshganj Gurudwara at New Delhi.

My dear Venky in India there are so many pilgrimages and temples where the power of God resides and many places where God still resides so it would be wrong to say that there is one powerful temple only besides Golden Temple

In my opinion more than any temple, your heart, my heart and everyone's heart are the most powerful temple, where God resides. -
