the king James . Ras (Prince) Tafari was the king of Ethiopia, was predicted by Marcus Garvy tom be the King of Kings the Lion of Judah, in the bible it talks of a king out of Africa so see the connection? I think the thing to remember is that rastas Love Jesus and do believe that he is the son of
God and that they are very much Christians in that. I do think it becomes confusing for most of us to say Jesus came again in the form of a king in Africa but if you look and see how many people have been brought to God and I am talking about the God of Abraham through Rastafri that is a blessing I was brought to the truth about God through Reggae music and without the devout rastas putting out that fine Gospel music I would not have found the God of Abraham ,and Jacob
I would be in the fantasy world called the catholic church . so if you have any doubt , ask a rasta about the bible and you will be sure to get the page by page verse by verse answer no fooling around they are very serious. some with dreads are under an oath it is the nazarite oath and so if you read the bible you will see that it involves not cutting of your locks and no drinking and so on you must not look at the rastas as fools they are like the Jews they are always going to be persecuted .

I presume they read the original Bible (the same one as Christians).........I guess they must also have their own scripture regarding the second coming of Christ though.

They believe General Haile Selassie was Jesus Christ reincarnated.
