Hi Primo,
Hope you're both safe and warm rather than in the midst of a snow storm!
No, I have never seen nor heard of the movie but upon your recommendation, I've just ordered it online and will consider it for a youth group movie night. The current youth group movie night scheduled for next week will be a discussion of "Meet John Doe" made in the 1940s - ever seen it? It has some excellent material for discussion.
The earlier author is right that God is first and foremost interested in our salvation, but God often meets us in our life situations and uses them to help us grow in understanding and trust. It can be hard to make the "leap of faith" - we more often start with baby steps of trusting God in smaller situations but hopefully out of that will grow a life-changing faith.
Thanks again!

Yes... Spoiler alert. But really, you could see it coming. But don't give away any more.
The answer I give here will officially set my points at 40K. I waited specifically for Primo's question to make the jump. Hazaah!
Yes, I saw and own the movie. It was an extremely low budget film with some definite donation acting. However, that always comes in second to story and character development. Those who are not believers would ask what the big deal is (the kinder response). Those who have experienced what is portrayed in the film will find themselves weeping.
For example, one decision by one student at the high school triggered a chain of events throughout the school, and eventually the coach's life. Being a product of the Jesus People Movement of the 1970s, I have seen this happen first hand. The media covered the movement in newspaper and magazine articles, but you could tell the reporters did not have a clue what or why it was happening. So to those who watch this movie. Unless you have been there, you will scratch your head and think it unbelievable.
If you find your walk is just one defeat after another, then watch this film and apply it to your life. Make it your own personal caveat and motto, and you will see as much a change in your own path as those who were building Nehemiah's Wall on the grid iron.

Yes, I saw it. Excellent film done by church amateurs. It's much better, technically, than that church's previous movie, "Flywheel" which was also a good movie.
It's good because it shows that God is concerned not only about His Plan, but also the desires of our hearts as well.
Bear in mind that those folks were not professionals...I found that amazing while I was watching, because the movie was better on a techincal level than many professional movies I have seen.
A must see for any Christian or anyone interested in checking out the good part of Christianity.

Dear Primo,
I hadn't heard of it, but based on your trustworthy recommendation I will check it out.
I can certainly relate to "overwhelmed" because my daughter, grandson and I were rushing to run errands this morning before the Nor'easter arrived and as we were driving home at noon we were praying that God would give all of the drivers on I95 wisdom and patience so we would ALL get to our destinations safely.
Our God is the awesome God!
For His glory,
JOYfilled
