First of all, WELL DONE for deciding to give a homeless dog and second chance at life. Far too few people do this, in favour of getting a cute, store-bought puppies who have often been taken away from teir mother far too early. Not all breeders are like this, of course, but why choose to make money by breeding, when there are far too many without home, already?
Personally, I would pick the puppy with the eye problem, because he's not 'perfect' and that's just how I like my pets. They are the ones who are hard-done-by. But you really need to think about what you can realistically provide for this dog, should you choose the one with the eye problem. If this is the case, you need to find out if it is a degenerative eye problem and if he will probably need medication/treatment during the remainder of his life. You also need to consider just how long this may last, because some treatement can be expensive, time consuming and may not necessarily be covered by pet insurance. If it is something that just happened, like a freak accident or something, he may not require further treatment . But you need to be prepared to take special measures so that he is comfortable with the layout of his new home.
If you choose the healthy dog, just bare in mind that not all healthy dogs stay that way, so it may be worthwhile taking out pet insurance. I speak as the previous owner of a terrier with an adventurous streak! Sure, pet insurance doesn't cover every problem, but it sure would have made the financial strain easier to manage! LOL!
Whatever your choice, all the best to you, because you obviously care about the best interests of both dogs and want to go into this with your eyes open!

First, all the best to you for choosing a shelter dog.
You have already been give some good points,if at all possible take them both...if that is not do-able then I would take the white one with the eye problem but only if you can get the dog vetted when necessary.
They both deserve a good owner like I'm sure you will be,but the wt/brn may need you more.
Good luck,I'm sure you will make the right decision.

what is causing the eye problem. My sister got a standard poodle that was just 3 years old that the owner said had a cataract that happened early. she adopted teh dog and in less than 4 months later the dog was totally blind, had open sores that would not and could not be healed, Loosing control of it's legs, getting very lethargic. All in allthe dog was in bad condition. Found out teh dog had severe thyroid problems and after a $5,000 surgery and meds costing $250 a month might ( 50/50) might make the dog comfortable. for a few more years.
Sorry to say but we felt it was more humane to end her suffering.

Get them both if you can.
As it happens,I have both a Staffie and an APBT and they are both spayed females.
The only problem I have seen so far,if it is even a problem is that the Staffie who is much younger than the APBT tends to want to play longer and harder than the APBT.
They get along fine otherwise.

Get both - not only do they get a loving caring home but they will keep each other company and usually out of trouble.
I've found dogs do better when there is more of them around. They tend to adapt to new situations well, aren't prone to be dog aggressive, and take to training a lot easier. One catches on and the other mimicks.
Again.. I really think you should get both!
Good Luck

the white and brown one because people dont pick dogs that are parshaly blind and the dog might not have a chance an eventually might get put down.

Get both of them.. I have a staffie and we recently got her an APBT to spend time with (both rescues). As long as they are different sex then you will be ok. It is never recommended to have two bullys of the same sex in the same house.
God bless the bully breed!!
