Huh, there was something in cats today about glow in the dark cats but I just figured it was asked by a crack smoker.
I'm not sure how I feel about it....all I know is I wouldn't want one. Little bastards are scary enough they way they creep up on you and dash around the house; imagine all that and glowing in the dark while they do it. *shakes head*
On the other hand, when travelling to the bathroom in the middle of the night, they'd have NO way of making you trip over them and then acting all injured and stuff.

A couple of things disturb me about this article. First, if the pictures are correct, all the cats are white. Most anything white will fluoresce. Second, the "study" is being put forward by the same scientist who is facing charges for a fraudulent study he released earlier about human eggs. Third, the idea that treatment for cats can be easily transferred to humans is very unlikely. I'd regard this whole thing with about a pound of salt!

I find it very disturbing.
Cloning is wrong. God would not like that. He should be the one to decide when soemthing has life. Not humans.
And even if they aren't religious. come on! Tahts horrinle. Those poor cats probably have so many problems. What has happened to this world.

Disturbing? No. Exciting? Yes!
After all these are the first steps that Scientists are taking in order to clone Human tissue. Imagine cloning a heart for your own replacement or a liver, or... well, you get the picture.
No need to wait for a "donor" to lose their life. No worry about rejection either.
No, this is not disturbing, this is VERY good news!

Cloning cats? Now don't get me wrong, I love cats but why the hell can't somebody figure out how to clone some animals that taste good? Or at least taste better than cats? Lets clone some lobsters or something. Like I said, i do like cats but there's no shortage of cats, we got PLENTY of cats.

At least we know when they get around to cloning humans, we won't need flashlights anymore. Think of the money we'll save on batteries.
And yes, it is very disturbing.

I find that disturbing. But I personally think that we should stop that. We should be finding cures for malaira and other problems in our world. There are countries and people that really need our help, a small change can help, but we are just sitting here. Why would we want to go to the moon (the hotel) and spend our money on ric companies while there are poor people in need. I personally think we shouldn't so that! Who agrees? Thumbs us. Who doesn't fine thumbs down.!

No, I found it fascinating when I read on Monday as an embargoed story on a journalism site where I am registered. I just couldn't talk about it.
I knew bits of the research before. Every advance is exciting.
