I can't swim, I don't have Heaps and Heaps of time on my hands.

Is there a certain "breathing" pattern i need?

Exercise, cardio and weight lifting. Make sure you drink lots of water. Weight lifting every other day, cardio every day.

Yeah!
It all comes to breathing. Search the web- there are plenty breathing advices.
Also you must eat healthy food. You can check my blog for some diet advices- http://fitnessanddiets.blogspot.com/
And maybe you can increase your stamina by doing sports. My advice is cycling and/or jogging.

Keep on light sporting and drink real Korean ginsing tea or make ginsing soup with chicken and carrot. I certainly can assure you will increase your stamina.

run?? like before work, 30 mins, then add 5 mins each week
