Hmmm, love is love. When one loves, one loves, period. However, a human love is more important than loving a dog. You live in a Muslim country, from what I hear, your culture does not accept dogs and treats them as dirty animals not worthy of love. This may lead to you not understand as much.
For me, I love dogs and my dogs are like members of my family. If any woman wanted me, she must understand that we are a package deal. Love me, love my dogs. Now, my future wife would be more important to me then my dogs, of course. If there was a house fire, I would get my wife and get out of the house calling for the dogs to come with us, of course. But my wife would be first on my mind, however, I could not forget the dogs.
It is possible with the difference in cultures, that you both misunderstood each other. Give both of you a chance to talk things out. Try to understand what he is saying, and he should try to understand you too. Good luck, God bless.

till now each thing i'm particular your dogs would be jealous, I even have 2 dogs as you will discover or perhaps nevertheless they have been jointly for 4 years my little lab is fairly jealous if my different one is getting my interest. They unquestionably love one yet another and can be lost without the different one. in case you get yet another one that is going to take time for the adjustment yet as quickly as that is over they'll in all probability do great. i might unquestionably choose on a golden rescue seeing you have already got the goldendoodle. good success.

I can understand you feeling upset about not being as important as his dog, but he loves his dog in a different way than he loves you or at least should. I wouldn't worry about it too much.
I basically did the same thing. Told my lover that my dogs were here long before she was and they would still be here when she was gone. Dogs are still here, shes gone lol.

IF YOU LOVE THIS MAN .... then accept his dog, too...
Otherwise, you may end up losing a very, very special person in your life!
When people invite pets into their lives [especially when they are single and alone] those pets become beloved parts of their FAMILY. When I date someone, it is very important to me that they know I am an animal lover [among other things] and that my pets [like my children] are a part of our complete FAMILY.
People who own pets do so because they bring us JOY and UNCONDITIONAL LOVE ..... This is unfortunately, a lesson that not all HUMAN learn in their lifetimes.
While animals and PETS give unconditional love, why is it that humans are sometimes incapable of doing the same with other humans....?
When you meet a person, you know right away what is {and is not} important to them. If a man's dog is important, then you KNEW that PRIOR to going into the relationship, didn't you ...?
WHY on earth would you expect him to give up his beloved dog now ....? Even asking him that seems very manipulative and cruel to me.
IF YOU LOVE THIS MAN .... then accept his dog, too...
Otherwise, you may end up losing a very, very special person in your life!
Is it worth losing him over this ...?
Good luck!

Moonbell it is a different type of love as we feel for our animals. When we have pets being dogs or cats they love unconditional and are there no matter if were sad or mad or happy ; glad; and believe it or not' they become like family members..I lost a great man ys ago as he didn;t like my little poodle peanut' and if he would not except my little pup' then didn;t want him either.Salty has been their for a long time ' and as much as he cares for you' you'll have to learn except the dog' as the dog will learn to except you....

You're looking at it wrong. You know it's a good relationship when you are considered as important as Man's Best Friend. Even if she's a bit of a b--ch.

My dogs can't take care of themselves, so I'm extra protective of them. My boyfriend could always get lost if he was unhappy, but my dogs are completely dependent on me. If I let them down they have nothing, so I'll never let them down.
