Does Mitt Romney have Secrect Service protection. Because the slogan of the Secret Service is to walk up to a subject of interest and ask them "Have you lived here ALL of your life?" and if the subject gives any sort of reaction involving a discomfort or lie, the subject is escorted away to a secure area and their residence is promptly searched without a warrant. So, is Mitt Romney lying?

the secret service does not bother with immigration. they are to protect the president, present and former, and the top tier of government.

and a slogan is like a catch phrase (like: the joy of pepsi) not a procedure to decide if someone is an alien or not. (and p.s. ~ your question is flawed.... hardly anyone has lived HERE all their lives, so even I would stutter on that question, and since when does INS move without a tip? never!) do some research so you dont look so stupid when you ask questions.

Do we want a country where everyone assumes someone has broken the law until proven otherwise?

I don't.

I think Romney is insincere on this issue, frankly, and a globalist. However, how many times do we run across people (particularly in places like LA) who by statistics have a 50% chance of being illegal? Are we supposed to assume each individual is and treat them accordingly?

What we need is systematic enforcement at all levels of government benefits, and at hire. A homeowner isn't in a position to get green cards and visas from every person who works for a contractor on their property. The employer of that person who pays them needs to do that. The problem is that there is no systematic enforcement.

Probably not, have protection, that is. If you are suggesting that the secret service would have questioned the employees of the landscape company, you are wrong. There would have been no probably cause for them to have done so. Mitt did not know who the landscaper was hiring.

Mitt Romney is a Mormon. The whole Mormon faith is built on lies. What makes him any different from other Mormons?
