Yep, thats what she asked me for. Would it be unethical for me to buy it for her? (no friend of mine bought me a vibrator until I was 18, and it was more like a gag gift). What would you do in this situation?

No I would pass on that. I can imagine what my uncle would say if bought my 16 year old cousin a dildo. Just tell her you don't feel comfortable buying that for her.

Best bet is let an adult you trust buy it for you. I would really advice against it getting it ANY OTHER WAY. I'm a guy and such but I honestly advice you first to get know what you enjoy by hand. You won't get to know yourself with a vibrator :p. "Wow since when do girls use vibrators. haha umm I think you should just wait til your older.." If any product is continued to be manufactured it means there is demand.

Personally, I don't think it'd be ethical. I mean, it is something better than her asking a boy to do it...but still, I don't think a 13 year old should have one. If she hasn't had sex yet, she's gonna break her hymen with it, and that might scare her in a way, to lose ur "virginity" in a sense to a toy, is a bit awkward. I think that if anything, she should just use her fingers and do stuff the way we all did at the beginning stages of finding out about this stuff. She'll be old enough soon enough to buy and use toys. I just don't think that it's appropriate for girls her age. It is ultimately your decision though. Good luck, and best wishes.

Depending on her maturity? I would.
Masturbation is a fantastic way for a gal to get to know her own body, what she likes or not, where and how.
The pleasures left aside, this solves so many problems with insecurity - believe it or not, but i actually met girls of that age who were -so- worried that they couldn't orgasm, because they had never orgasmed, that they already decided for themselves they were freaks.

What? I work in an adult store. And i don't make a secret of it. And i firmly believe in the Law of Returned Intelligence; Any one, aged 6 and up, who can ask intelligent questions, has the right to have that question answered to it's level of intelligence.

That said- if you decide to get her one, i personally would recommend something small and slim. The famous Pocket Rocket is a good example, though you might even consider buying a vibrator intended for anal use - they -tend- to be smaller than vaginal ones.

Don't get yourself in trouble by doing this, a vibrator is a personal thing and I would hate for someone to buy me one. Also what sort of way will it make you look if it gets out you bought a 13 year old a sex toy. my answer is a great big NO.

Buy it for her. There is nothing wrong with it and the laws that say there is are stupid. She is probably using things that aren't the right texture or material for insertion so a real vibrator might actually be helpful. Hope this helps.

she's 13 and not your child. it's not your business to buy her a vibrator. besides, these days, you might go to jail for something like that.

tell her you don't think it's appropriate right now.

It's better than her getting pregnant at 13. I'd buy it for her.

Don't do it. You could get in serious trouble with her parents, and with the law if you buy her a sex toy.
