No.

The song "Amazing Grace" advocates unscriptural ideas, such as immortality of the soul.

So what does the bible teach about "the soul"?

A "soul" is a life, with no implication regarding some immortal otherwordly entity. Each deceased life is in Jehovah God's remembrance (with the potential for future resurrection), but the dead do not exist anywhere but memories until and unless the life is resurrected.

(Ezekiel 18:4) The soul that is sinning - it itself will die.

(Ecclesiastes 9:5) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all

(Ecclesiastes 9:10) there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol ["hell"]

(Genesis 2:17) But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die.”

(Genesis 17:14) And an uncircumcised male who will not get the flesh of his foreskin circumcised, even that soul must be cut off from his people. He has broken my covenant.”

(Judges 16:30) And Samson proceeded to say: “Let my soul die with the Philistines.” Then he bent himself with power, and the house went falling upon the axis lords and upon all the people that were in it, so that the dead that he put to death in his own death came to be more than those he had put to death during his lifetime.

(Job 33:22) And his soul draws near to the pit, And his life to those inflicting death.

(Psalm 78:50) He did not hold back their soul from death itself; And their life he handed over even to the pestilence.

(Isaiah 53:12) he poured out his soul to the very death

(Acts 3:23) Indeed, any soul that does not listen to that Prophet will be completely destroyed from among the people.’

(Revelation 16:3) And the second one poured out his bowl into the sea. And it became blood as of a dead man, and every living soul died, yes, the things in the sea.

It's very possible to learn to sing well. You just need to know the right methods. Learn here https://tr.im/IX74b

Singing teachers will cost money and can be expensive so they're not for everyone. Singing can be learned so it's not an "either you have it or you don't" kind of thing.

Whether you sound like crap or you're decent, I recommend this singing course. It's one of the best methods to learn to sing well in a short amount of time. It's all about using efficient techniques that work.

Penny stocks don’t cost much money and promise big profits. But trading penny stocks is also a good way to lose money.

Sure, it’s possible to profit when you understand the game. Learn here https://tr.im/moGDt

For investors who can’t afford shares of Google or Apple, the potential gains from trades like this are too good to pass up. So penny-stock trading thrives. With a relatively small investment you can make a nice return if the trade works out.

Around 7 million of us, probably some do. I personally prefer the version by Reese from Malcolm in the Middle.

Amazing Race
How sweet the Taste,
That saved a Wrench for me,
I once was in the Lost and Found,
was (don't remember the word) but found my keys

. Amazing Grace , how sweet it may seem but with any other song you have to examine what it is saying. For the reason that this song (amazing grace is not in harmony with bible teachings) we (Jehovah's Witnesses) refrain from singing it. We have a wonderful song book , from this book we sing praises to Jehovah that express his loving kindness, and his purpose.

How on earth could any Christian not joyfully acknowledge and understand the words of 'Amazing Grace'? Is it not every Christian's dream, hope and desire to go to heaven to abide with Christ?

Ah, now I understand! Only 144,000 Jehovah's Witnesses hope to go to heaven. So the remaining 99.9% of them don't understand what it's all about.

But what's all this about the words of the hymn promoting the doctrine of the imortal soul? I didn't spot that. On the other hand, Jehovah's Witnesses promote the doctrine of soul annihilation, so perhaps that might explain why they don't sing 'Amazing Grace'.

What a shame. They've never experienced God's amazing grace? They don't know what it means to be saved? So how can they be Christians, then?

Heather's response is the opposite of what the Bible really teaches.

Note this: "For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ►►ye do shew the Lord's death◄◄ till he come." (1 Corinthians 11:26, KJV) We are to observe his DEATH as a memorial of his sacrifice.

Also note Ecclesiastes 7:1, KJV: "A good name is better than precious ointment; and ►►the day of death than the day of one's birth."◄◄
